What trees? Part 2


For my knowledgeable mate, chm ... here are some close-ups of the trees you weren't sure about.

  1. Let me be clear, I am by no means a dendrologist, I just love nature, try to know what’s around me and recognize and memorize it. This being said, being a city boy I can recognize but a few trees (or their family) from their leaves and/or flowers.

    The leaf of the first tree could be that of a poplar’s, but the shape of the tree doesn’t seem to fit.

    The second one could be a Linden or a Lime.

    The last two are Oleanders, lauriers roses in French

    Here are two websites for identifying trees from their leaves, one in English, the other in French.

  2. Just remember Tony that everything about an oleander is poisonous. Don't get the sap on your skin.
