On a beautiful summer's day, we jump on our bikes and take an untried path towards Temple sur Lot (TsL).
We start on the main road out of Castelmoron sur Lot. On this road the traffic builds up speed, which is disconcerting, but after a couple of hundred metres there is a turn onto a quieter lane. This eventually brings us out at TsL.

At TsL there is a water lily nursery called the Latour Marliac Jardin des Nenuphars. It is where Monet got his inspiration for the famous pond at Giverny.

Cycling in rural France can hold countless surprises and splendours.
Hi Tony, I've been wanting to visit this garden since I read about it last year. I don't know when is the best time to see the lilies in flower, but will have to make the effort after we return from Madrid. Sounds like it was an interesting ride.
